Do you know how a retractable leash is produced? Today I will show you the production process. First, the housing of the retractable leash is injection molded from ABS plastic. The grip part of the housing is formed by TPR overmolding.

We need to use a sewing machine to stretch and fix the snap hook and the weaving strap, then pass the pin through the weaving strap and the reel to fix them. In this way, the webbing strap can be wound around the reel.

Place a flat spiral spring inside the reel and put the reel into the lower housing, and add solid lubricant into the flat spiral spring. Finally, cover the reel with a cover plate. Assemble the button component, insert them into the lower housing, and fit the bottom spring. At the same time, insert the pin into the upper housing.

Equally align the upper and the lower housing and press them together. Then test whether the webbing can extend and retract freely. Finally, check the retraction and extension of the webbing again and verify whether the braking button functions normally.
In this way, a retractable leash is born. If you want to see how other products are manufactured, feel free to leave your message—we will try our best to show you.
