According to research, most pet supplies in North America are manufactured by Chinese factories. And in the Chinese pet supplies industry, there are mainly three types of industry players.
Brand Owner
The brand owners usually have their own sales channels but do not own factories. Instead, they source products through supply chains and customize private labels.
Small Pet Supplies Manufacturer
Small-Scale, Less Competitive Workshop Manufacturers. This is the largest group in China, with individual production capacities and quality control often being less robust.
Pet Supplies OEM Factories
Companies like Zhongheng Pet, Suzhou Kudi, and Shaoxing Bobo Pet Supplies fall into this category. They primarily generate revenue through OEM/ODM, have some own brand products, and boast strong R&D, design capabilities, and production capacity.
Because there are a large number of manufacturers and they are eager to expand their market share, the pet supplies industry is experiencing highly homogeneous competition in its products. As a result, no leading brands have emerged, with even top companies holding less than 1% of the market share.
In response to the current industry landscape, Kudi is actively upgrading the brand and expanding its product range. At the beginning of 2022, we developed pet grooming tools with a panda theme. By the end of 2022, we introduced innovative products like handheld pet hair dryers and pet vacuums, driven by technological advancements. Staying true to our original mission, we will continue to innovate and design to bring better pet products to your furry friends.
