Fixing your hair under the mat helps to reduce the effects of the traction and pulling action you are about to perform.

3. Use the 12 blade side to gently pick through the mats until you can pull the comb through the hair easily. Please use with moderate force. not extreme pressure when pulling stubborn matting.
